How it Works
The SureCall N-Range 2.0 works by mounting a combination of external antenna and amplifier to the top of the vehicle using the powerful magnet mount base and then running a small coax cable to the inside cradle antenna, which is mounted to an air vent on the dashboard and receives power from a cigarette lighter power supply. The roof mount antenna receives power over the coax cable from the cradle, and your phone sits in the cradle to receive boosted cell signal.
The roof mount antenna receives the cell signal from the nearby cell towers and passes that directly to the integrated amplifier. The amplifier boosts that signal and then passes it over the coax cable to the cradle, which broadcasts the boosted signal directly to the mobile device that is sitting in the cradle. As you use your mobile device, the signal is also boosted in the opposite direction and broadcast to the nearby cell towers, resulting in a strong signal in both directions.
